All,
I wonder when CPQ and others will figure out that they can sell servers to "neighborhoods", complete with one cable connection... I can see me and a dozen of my neighbors wiring up to each other with high speed cable (100MZ) ethernet and a very fast fiber optic or regular cable connection to the net... just imagine, just one very fast, high powered server handling my neighborhood with super storage and backup capability... Ahhhh! the answer to the perpetual upgrade problem. Perhaps the local non-existent neighborhood watch could offer the service with all participating households affixed with multiple cameras beaming into the yards. Would this be a local version of "little brother"? Then, of course, they could all be interconnected into the local 911 office so EVERYONE could see what was happening in our town... ah, isn't progress wonderful.

Lehman saying this morning that:

"W2K roll-out should be BETTER than had been expected"

THIS should/could benefit CPQ substantially ... but how much of an impact the call will have on CPQ is anybody's guess but should be positive.
