FLSH sees the light

Disk-on-Key?

We need another removable flash standard like we need another hole in our heads. I guess FLSH finally saw the light and realized that the future is removable flash memory. But how is this any better than a CF card in a PCMCIA adaptor?

Every laptop produced for the US market has a type II PCMCIA slot. How is a new USB-based flash standard at all revolutionary? It reminds me of the "thumb drives" we discussed a while back.

Well, at least there is another manufacturer who will be needing NAND in great quantities and that is good for SNDK.
