There are plenty of people running besides Bush and gore. If you can't be bothered to figure out which one you think is the best, you shouldn't be voting at all.

My goodness, Brian! Do you apply the same shoot-from-the-hip approach to choosing candidates that you do to judging posts?

Wherever did you get the impression that I only considered Bush and Gore? Certainly not from anything I said, which was "couldn't bring myself to choose ANY of candidates." And where did you get the impression that I "couldn't be bothered?" I think my post clearly conveyed considerable effort to study the candidates and evaluate the options. As for your gratuitous advice about not voting at all, thanks, but then you already knew I had opted not to vote for President because I said so. At least you would have had you "bothered to" read my post before you responded.

I hope you were more thoughtful in making your choice than you were in responding to mine.
