I don't have to accept defeat gracefully, I didn't lose, nor do I live in NY. I just think it's embarrassing that NY allowed a non-resident to come in and now vote the wishes of the people of NY. What a joke. This is merely stepping stone to more power for a person who is addicted to power.

I also disagree about the presidential candidates. One (Gore) has planned his whole life to be president and wants to fulfill his daddy's wishes. He doesn't have a clue what it's like to live in the private sector. The other (Bush) did not aspire to the office, admits he's human AND takes responsibility for errors in judgement. When you compare the "dirt" Bush has a few pebbles compared to Gore's 22 earthmover loads.

<<Now now, accept defeat gracefully. Same hold true for Presidential candidates regardless of party affiliation.>>

I agree totally. If Bush wins, then I congratulate him and I wish him, his supporters and our country all the best. In that case, I hope his supporters are right about his potential to be a good President. I hope Bush's supporters will take the same gracious approach if Gore wins.
