Did they specify what type of products they have to work off?

Same thing with NT. Were they oversupplied with amcc or pmcs gear?

same conclusion as you, but a different analysis.

I am not fearful of a long term demand driven slowdown for packet infrastructure.

combined with the strength of the merchant silicon cycle (a hidden padding/multiplier no one bothers to analyze) I sincerely doubt amcc hits the wall anytime in the near future. i think fundamentals are fine.

However, valuations are still at very high levels.

confusion is swirling everywhere, growth rates and valuations are unprecedented, i expect this wild volatility will continue for a while.

With the FD eliminating a primary conduit of company communication, i see no reason for a recovery anytime soon. But i don't call markets, it's hard enough dealing with straight fundamentals.
