Hi Paul - thx for the article. Just want to add though, this is more than just a CSCO strategy. Rather, it is quite prevalent with many software cos. I don't think they can take credit either. The original UNIX movement is probably the grand daddy, and DEC PDP line on the hardware side, who have defied that commercial mkt lock of the then IBM with a legend of graduate students bringing with them the experience from academia to the real world. Regardless of the genesis, I agree it is good for business and it is especially good for NT :) best, Bosco
