Paul,

<what would .13 do to capacity for AMD and Intel?>

I don't think the capacity matters and I am not surprised that you ask that question. (I see from your profile that you are 17 years old.)

Capacity is a highly overrated short-term concern. In the semiconductor business, on a long term basis, one would like to have slightly more capacity than slightly less capacity. Assuming that there is no major cash crunch for a company there are many ways to consume capacity (chipsets, cache, foundry work, etc.) but there are not that many ways to increase the performance of an x86 processor. Intel's 0.13 is a winner with this key criteria. Let's see how AMD plans to overcome this one.
