I said before that govt employees have to be held both criminally and financially responsible for their actions. Letting beaurocrats and govt employees ride roughshod over the population with their bullshit social manipulations and the the taxpayer footing the bill to ease some "pain" inflicted by these turds is about as far from being democratic as can be.

"Compenstaion" rates up in the top stomach turning words right along with "funding" and "benefits"

If the cops are locked up, wanna bet they don't lose their pensions?????????

An interesting idea you have ...

Anyone wrongfully convicted of a crime would be compensated as much as reasonably possible: We can't replace years and anguish with money, but we could try. But, to reduce the likelihood of too many improper convictions, EVERYONE connected to the wrongful conviction will serve the sentence they helped bring forward. I would expect cops, lawyers, jail-house snitches, and judges would be extra careful to see justice served.

Again, I tend to embrace ideas which force people to be held accountable for their actions. Unfortunately, the winds of irresponsibility have been blowing for some time and people have come to expect others to shoulder the burden of their inappropriate behaviour. I don't expect this to change overnight, but it would be nice to see some evidence of an adjustments in our present course.

We have a chance of removing some of the decay later this month. Let's hope we exploit the opportunity for the benefit of everyone.

Cheers, PW.
