his dad was a good man... pres doesn't have much of anything to do w/ the economy unless the exec branch is diddling econ numbers and treas playing w/ markets AND you have a stock mania that the entire economy is dependent on (like they are rt now -g- -- SPR and long bond buyback??). bubba is a classic example of that... bush did what he had to do and what he thought was rt. one of those things was raising taxes. i respect him for that..... f*ck the polls, and do what you think is rt. that's all i ask of an elected official...
