A major nailbiter. I'm afraid Washington will go for Gore. Most people here are non-MSFT shareholders. MSFT shareholders are in the minority and the majority dislike the "MSFT money" they see around them. It's possible that many people would vote for Gore just to see MSFT hurt. Or, if not that, at least the MSFT issue isn't a reason for most of them to vote for Bush.

Meanwhile, many of the undecided states look like they are leaning towards Bush. Florida is crucial. I'm holding my breath, but might have to hold it for a few days while they count the absentees. At least we live in interesting times.

Donna E. Shalala says uncounted Florida votes are from Broward county and heavily democratic. That's good enough for me. Great race.
