I hope Gore pulls this out. Someone has to take the fall when the economy goes and I'd rather see the Dems taking it because they deserve some tough love.

This is also paving the way for Ventura in 4 years. Both parties will look like shmucks and here comes this third party guy that has been a popular governor and doesn't take crap. I think the only way he loses is if he screws up his running mate selection. It has to be Colen Powell or a woman. Either one will help pull the black vote from the Dems, and also some of the Dems women voters. Many Republicans will vote Ventura for his fiscal plans. People like myself vote Republican because we don't like the Dems wanting to take all our money. We don't agree with the Republicans telling us how to live our lives, but it's the lessor of two evils. Ventura has the appeal of "keeping the Democrats out of your boardroom and the Republicans out of your bedroom". I forgot, he will also get the young vote that has never been there before. It worked in Minnesota as the mania was going full swing. After some tough love nationally, I don't see any reason to think the guy doesn't have a very good chance.
