This is why I claimed that if at the end of Q4'00 AMZN had $600M or more of real cash in the bank (as opposed to fishy accounting tricks under investigation by SEC), they wouldn't need any more financing.


You are assuming cash burn is going to slow. There is nothing in the business model that suggests this will occur nor is this a trend. The problem ramains that the cost of fulfillment exceeds gross margins. That issue needs solved. Then we can work on marketing and administration not to mention debt service.
