Is a dead man "an inhabitant" of the state? It happens to be one of the requirements to be a candidate there.

You can't elect a dead man. So the other guy has to win. If the widow lady wanted the job she should have been out trying for write in votes...but everyone who voted for the corpse thinking it would give the widow the job,just threw there vote away... they might as well have been voting for corpus Gore.<g>
