Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall in Tallahasse and watch the voting count taking place?

This will make a great paragraph in someones book one day!

Mogul,

Slow down.

The automatic recall is Florida law and it is required when the margin of victory is less than 0.5%. It's not a federal requirement. The Bush camp is still stating that they are sure they have won.

The Secret Service and FBI are in a large number of states, not just Florida.

This is one of the most splendid examples of the brilliance of the Founding Fathers I've yet seen. We are doing a wonderful job of solving the problem of succession completely bloodlessly, an issue that has troubled most governments in history.

This will be resolved, but we're all going to be mighty tired by the time it is.... :)

For me, the result couldn't be more splendid. This is gridlock-to-the-moon. :) Best answer I can think of for the private sector.
