If you mean share size, that varies from stock to stock, price to price...1 to 5 round lots usually. I'm not a "big" trader.

On a 1 to 4 week trade, I needn't worry about squeezing out the last 1/8th...so if it takes a minute for my trade to execute, and I have to adjust my limit order as a result, I'm not bothered. In truth, I've only rarely not gotten the price I wanted within an 1/8th...
