Bob Butterworth, Florida Attorney General stated on CNN that he felt that the recount might be completed by 4 PM EST Wednesday. He made it appear that this would be the earliest time.

In a separate report, there was a discussion of Florida Democratic voters complaining that their votes were counted as being for Buchanan rather than Gore. More bizarre than I've heard in a while.
