Theo, there sure is a problem! Moments after Bush was "elected" by the networks last night, the NASD was up 40+ points. As soon as there was a doubt, the NASD was down to almost flat. And today, with the election in doubt, the NASD got killed :-(

The street HATES questions and doubts .. and it shows. As a result, fundementals and tech analysis will both be worthless for a day or two.

While there's a couple hundred votes remaining to be settled in Florida, this election is CREEPY. Both potential winners are stuck in their hotel rooms in silence.

If this was a race in Kantmandu, I might believe it. But when a few hundred votes are stalling the progress of the U.S., the world has a serious problem. Until this thing is settled, the markets are stuck. IMHO, the world is on hold ... until at least the recount is complete ... and possibly until the Supreme Court rules.

God bless the Electoral College -- because there is not telling when they will have a chance to meet and vote. With luck, this may be the last time they meet ... period.
