Well they've got to get through the Florida recount first. I bet that's going to be a real hissy cat fight, with charges of fraud and deception all around. But you're right about the possibility of thing going on and on. There is a nasty little controversy going on in St Louis concerning polling booths being kept open against a judges order.

Another month? To quote Conrad's Kurtz; "the Horror, the Horror"

I think we are watching sausage being made.

Good Morning, Rory. In case one forgets, we live in the United States of America, not simply America. I think the electoral college(EC) is the appropriate way to handle a presidential election. We are a republic of states and the EC is the only way to get candidates to work the entire country. The alternative, popular vote only, would ensure that the candidates only focus on the top 100 or so locations through the land. No one would bother with Montana or Alaska (sorry kb<g>).

What a night!
