Gore's opponents have been very good at turning his poor choice of words against him, but he really is one of the key architects of the Internet.

I doubt that Bush has done much of anything useful during his lifetime.

Basically, less than seven percent of one percent of one percent of the US population decided the vote.

That is not really true... it only SEEMS that way because of the way it panned out. Had one or two medium sized states gone one way or the other Florida would be moot.

It is like thinking that the last spot on a lottery scratch off card holds your winning in the balance. The game fools you into thinking that. The whole card was either a winner or loser the whole time.

But yes. It is very exciting, and they way it has played out it does now come down to florida, and perhaps the overseas military.

What a trip.
