Chart looks real good if you don't connect the two points but rather put two parallel lines above and below the general trend. Both support and resistance are moving up in parallel. I call that a signature by the specialist.

I hope that in studying retrace of past curves that the signature does not vary with the age of the specialist? Our signature tends to lose a number of wiggles as we age.

I like to superimpose market makers' or specialists' signature on top of trend lines for retrace study. I feel more comfortable if technical analysis is qualified that way. I have given up moving average of any type some time ago, when fitting the curve frustrated me.

Good luck on your system of analysis. Ever study the way Las Vegas poker dealers deal, by reading the cards and watching how they shuffle the cards by skewing the deck of each hand? They shuffle stack by stack not card by card like we do at home, Reading the cards becomes simple if each hand is skewed before shuffling many hands without disturbing the order of each hand. Good luck on your gambling too.
