MANU, CFLO, NUAN, BEAS, PMCS.. you can't buy the puts or short fast enough. I did get MRK puts last night but a few option points is nothing compared to double and triple baggers in the short side. Unbelievable the pharmaceuticals.. biotechs...

Kevin, just to show option volatility, AOL is a perfect example. Some AOL Calls just lost 50% of their value 30 minutes or so ago, from their earlier highs before coming back up.

Look at the range of the AOOLL's (Dec 60 calls)

High was $3.70, low was about $1.70 ask I believe, although it did not trade there. Now it has popped back up to about $2.05 x 2.20.

The common went from 58+ to 55 and the calls lost 50% of their value! If you were nimble you could have watched level two and maybe sold quick and then picked up some cheap calls a few minutes later. But you had only had a minute or two to do it. It can wear you out if you let it. LOL!

Often I will not get greedy and just put in sell or buy limit orders. Not a perfect strategy either, but sometimes keeps your emotions out of it.

Options really magnify the "when to buy" and "when to sell" dilemma.
