Techie, it's a lot easier for senators and congressmen to vote for gridlock, if they know that the majority of the people support them. If Bush follows a moderate Clinton-like bipartisan program, then he will succeed. Otherwise, he will fail miserably. By the way, Hillary must be jumping up and down with glee. With Gore out of the way, she (along with Bill's shadow) now becomes the preeminent Democrat. No wonder Bill was so happy yesterday. Kyros
