I'm not a Sun bull, but the WSJ went easy on Sun calling it a parity error. I know they mentioned cosmic rays and other stuff, but, parity error? Excuse me, your half million dollar server just had a widdew pawity ewwor. Would you wike to continue?

... after thinking about it for a while, I think I will try to answer my own question ...

When the market has gone sour (as in the bear/crash conditions that exist or are coming soon), not much motivation is needed to trash a great, but high P/E company.
