BRCM is a very good company, but not what I would call an undiscovered gem. But when they brought it down almost $100 in a space of a week or so, it became interesting again. As I mentioned on this thread in January (at much lower prices than today's prices too), it was always part of a trio (BRCM, BRCD and JNPR) which I followed, but once the prices became too rich, I moved my game to laggard that I felt could have similar meteoric results (CDTS did, but, as usual I left half on the table in its meteoric rise (g)). The real question is this decline a signal that BRCM (and the other two) are "done for". I think it might indeed for a good six months or so. However, excursions from here to the low $200 is quite possible, and that is the type of game I am planning to play, providing the markets follows the turnips and turns, just about here and now (g).
