If one looks at AMD, however, they have 0.85/share in long term investments (29M equities, 5M bonds, 266M joint venture) plus $3.50/share in cash, so AMD valued as a mutual fund would be worth $4.25

What about AMDs debt. I thought cash was only slightly more then the debt so that the net cash would not be so much.
