It is my understanding that prisoners in jail in the US can vote and that the democrats were out in force to get these prisoners to vote. Assuming that the majority of the jail birds would have voted democrat and if Gore is declared the winner, we can safely say that the inmates of Florida prisons decided the fate of the US Presidency.
In Canada we also allow prisoners the vote. Why?
