My motto has always been "Vote early, vote often."

Seriously, Tuesday's election underscores the need for improving how we vote. In my town, the ones complaining were the rich Repubs, who came out in force to vote the straight ticket but were frustrated because they had to wait in line for 30 to 60 minutes to vote because several precincts only had one voting machine. And a lot of people decide what they're going to do when the curtain's drawn instead of going over a sample ballot beforehand and then voting swiftly.

In any event, it was healthy to see both sides get out the vote Tuesday.
