What difference does our opinion make? The EC is the law of the land. If we want to change it, the Constitution needs to be amended whether Bush or Gore wins. JLA

It would, indeed. My own position is that it is likely an anachronism, but as long as it is the rule under which the game is played, it should be honored. Mostly, I have declined to participate in any argument about it......
