>>>it was initially confusing for me but I figured it out ... for those older voters with bad eye-sight it
was a MAJOR problem and there WERE errors made ...<<
Fla. Gov. Bush just addressed that issue saying that the voting ballot form that was used had been used before with no problem and that a copy of that form had been published publicly so that anyone who would have cared to contest it had the opportunity to do so. Nice to hear that "youngsters" like yourself were able to figure it out and were able to vote without errors. jajajaja El

That is a problem...but how would they solve it? Ask the county to vote again? Makes me glad I have a computer driven machine up here.

Also, isn't there an issue that the armed forces personnel have yet to vote and it's likely that this will come in heavily in Bush's favor? I know that is what helped out Connie Mack a few years ago.

PCSS,

Didn't the ballot holes have numbers associated with them? I always check the number when I vote. In fact, I vote by number. I always double check. Does that make me smarter than most. I don't think so. It's common sense!!!

Michael, that's a load of bull. I live in Palm Beach Gardens, and I voted. I can tell you that the template has been used in previous elections, and that the election booklet was similar for all of the several pages in it and in previous years. To claim that it caused folks to vote for Buchanan as opposed to another candidate or vice-versa is just pure bull. It was a smooth day and everyone was voting.

The template on the TV screen is not half as legible and intuitive as seeing the real thing up close, not to mention that the arrows are very clear. Just last minute desperation tactics by a sore loser, IMO. What everyone expected to happen to Bush, happened to Gore (winning the popular vote but not the electoral college).
