Amazon might have a really hard time raising capital. From the pets.com web site:

Blodget had a higher rating on Pets.com than Amazon. Pets.com was a buy/buy whereas Amazon is an accmulate/buy.

Pets.com was reduced to accumulate about a month ago. Coverage was dropped yesterday. I don't know why if it was a buy<G>

On the way to work this a.m., I heard some analyst on the business news segment say, re pets.com, "the lesson here is that you can't use the web to sell low ticket commodity items that are heavy."

I started laughing so hard I almost drove off the highway!

So what can you sell over the internet at a profit, besides pornography??
