Chances are that Bush will prevail, but I suspect it's not going to be swift. A suit has already been filed to invalidate the results in a Florida county -- the one where I incidentally live. The suit alleges that a badly designed ballot resulted in the miscasting of close to 2000 votes intended for Gore -- Bush won Florida be less than 2000 votes. Additionaly, since Gore won the majority of the popular vote, Bush will govern under a moral cloud. Time to amend the constitution and get rid of the arcane 18th century electoral college. As for NASDAQ, the conventional wisdom is that the market hates uncertainty. My own opinion is that the smart money is getting massively out of overvalued tech and uses every opportunity to do so. Today was supposed to be such an opportunity, but regrettably, no buyers materialized. Kyros
