Sample ballots were posted in all local newspapers and passed out in line. Anyone is allowed to ask questions of election officials prior to or during vote. Dem's outlawed competency exams for election purposes some time ago.

I feel for those who voted for the wrong person, but we are not here to prevent the error of ballot interpretation. JMO. Dutch

That's a reasonable solution.

A couple of thoughts on other issues:

If anyone was short calls (ie, wrote covered calls), they just got a gift. But them back, wait till the market recovers on Friday (hopefully), and resell them.

If anyone was on full margin, this improbable election non-result may have put them in margin call territory. I hope nobody on the Porch got caught with their pants down again.

Throwing out the suspect ballots is the same as letting the ballots stand as they are. I am against all legal action - takes too long and is going to open up a huge can of worms that will be devisive to the country. Keep the lawyers out of it. .. Oops .. I can't say that.. 1/2 of the candidates are lawyers.. <g>
