Everything should be done to make voting as simple AND SECURE as possible. No one should ever be excluded for any reason. Got a problem with that? I have no fear of "invit(ing) irresponsible and apathetic voters to participate". You are deflecting, in typical GOP style, the core argument. You wrote "The easier we make it, the more we invite irresponsible and apathetic voters to participate I say: "Everything possible should be done to make voting as simple as possible, to include as many people as possible and no one has the right to judge who is or isn't responsible. Voting is a right. it's not by invitation only Clear? Aren't you heavy-duty Republicans always takn' about "upholding the Constitution" and the "Rule of Law"? I sure don't recall any warnings about the dangers of "inviting irresponsible and apathetic voters", do you? Now I did use "is" once. Need that defined?
