I never said he was "entitled" to the votes. I merely stated that Nader, never a formal candidate before, siphoned votes from Gore. It is a fact. It produced identically the same impact as if Nader would have had his people cast a vote for Bush directly.

George Wallace siphoned votes from Nixon, but it didn't impact the final outcome.

TR took votes from Taft and gave the election to Wilson.
Don't be offended. TR didn't diminish Wilson's victory, he simply assisted him in the same manner as if TR had instructed his people to vote for Wilson.
