If you think SF is clean and well run, that is ok with me. When I walk down the street I am disgusted by how much grafitti and trash is acceptable for this potentially beautiful city. I don't like stepping out of a $300/night hotel room and having to navigate people in the streets laying in their waste (nice compassion there) or begging for money. In my opinion this is a perfect example of the failure of ultra liberal politics. There is supposed to be compassion, but it is all talk, otherwise these issues would be addressed. Can't claim that there is not enough money, because there is a lot of it here. Willie's work place just had the roof gold plated, and they are spending BILLIONS to fix up an airport that can't handle the traffic it has. I could go on and on.

BTW, I too am a native Californian. Lived here my whole life. I wish I was as happy with the current situation as you are. Unfortunately, I am not. The good thing is that there are plenty of people (at this point) who will pay over $500,000 for a track house to live in this area. When I do move I will take you up on your offer to help, though. Moving is a hassle.
