I'm gonna have to put that gem in a special folder. But first I must open a window or two because of the odor.

Gore is acting most responsibly. When he, like everyone, believed Florida was going to Bush, he offered Bush his concession and was on his way to make his concession speech when he learned that Florida law mandates that any public election that is decided by less than 1/2 of one percent must be recounted to insure that the outcome is accurate. Let me reiterate that: Florida law mandates a recount. It would be ridiculous for Gore to concede defeat when the official count of the Florida vote has not been determined. He is doing the right thing, and there is no doubt he will concede if the recount proves Bush to be the victor (unless of course evidence of some major voting fraud is uncovered by that time, which is unlikely). He is doing the right thing by letting the mandated recount run its course. As soon as the final results are in from Florida, it will be correct for whoever is declared the loser to concede, be it Gore or that babbling moron son of ex-president George H. W. Bush.

Oh Charlie, how can you say that!!???! If the roles were reversed and Bush conceded last night he would indeed be the dummy of which the demos have spent millions trying to convince the American people.
