A weak presidency isn't a bad thing. And with an evenly split Congress, not much mischief can be done. But as a figurehead he'll be able to unify people, not polarize people like Gore would do.

going to be a weak presidency I'm afraid And we've just had 8 years of a strong Presidency? Clinton's Legacy - He did what Reagan couldn't do - give America a Republican Congress. Gore's Legacy - Topping Clinton with a Republican Tri-fecta.
