And everyone said Nixon was a crook.

At least he gave the election to Kennedy, knowing that Illinois had stolen it, and it belonged to him not Kennedy. He did it for the good of the country!

Something the Clinton/Gore duo wouldn't understand.

IF he believes there were problems with the vote, are you saying that those problems should be overlooked for the good of the country?

I say Bull sh*t. The country has gone thru a lot worse than a lawsuit. I will tell you this. If those issues are not resolved, a significant portion of the country will not assign the moral authority to lead to Bush. A cloud, a taint, whatever you want to call it, will prevail.

Bush already has the hindrance of failing to win the popular vote(every President who won without winning the pop vote was a one term president). I would think Bush himself would want any election issue doubts cleared up as well.
