Interesting idea running symantec monitors full time. Sounds as if this will be unnecessary with W2k.

The more I read--especially the link you give in the following post--the more I am decided that my next move will be a new machine with much more ram, much bigger hd etc. I am scheming on running three machines on three different internet connections such as dsl, cable and dialup. Probably overkill but it will tend to guarantee a good connection all the time <g>
