Now the placebo.... "is Palm Beach the only county with these ballots?" If so... ho ho ho... Bring in the stat folks from the FDA.

Of course they are, all counties have their own ballots. There are county officials being elected. There are local issues being voted on like new schools. This requires a unique ballot in each county.

If you're referring to the same butterfly type of ballot, I'm not sure. Even if used, it might not have the candidates in the same order or in the same way that apparently confused people in Palm Beach. The odd thing is the number of votes to the two minority parties point to the old people of Palm Beach being the only ones that had this problem.

This makes a good case if Gore wants to fight it, but my guess is as soon as the recount is done tomorrow there will be tremendous pressure on Gore to concede, unless something real fishy shows up in the numbers overnight.
