I would say that Dan Niles probably can move a stock with one of his calls. This is the same Dan Niles that gave MU a target of $100 on May 30th and could only see blue skies ahead? The one who thought it would go up from there several fold? Well... of course a semi is a semi, the economy is slowing, there is no more money to be had to build out the net, all tech is bad, design wins mean nothing, greed and fear rule the street and lemmings abound. What if he's wrong on the growth rates? Think he'll issue an apology? So, when does Mr. Niles see the cycle picking up again? Surely he'll know before David Rickey. TA
