What really scares me about the "confusing ballot" issue and lawsuits is the possibility of a re-vote as the remedy. This would amount to a brand new election with a few thousand voters determining the next president of the country. What other remedies are there? A new general election?

IMO, whoever comes up with the fewer vote count after all are counted would be a genius to concede. Look like a hero who has the country's best interests at heart. Let the new administration deal with the trade deficit, tension in the Middle East, worsening economy, etc. Then come back in 4 years and be elected by a landslide.
