George: I don't follow ORCL. Some on here do, so maybe they can comment. Averaging down.... I do it all the time. I realize some authority says don't do it, but in this market there are sure some good deals handed to us on dips.

If you are buying the stock for long term, then I'd accumulate on dips on those quality techs of yours. What you might want to do, however, is not buy all at once. A little here, a little there.... doesn't have to be all at one time, and you might wait for a reversal. They may just go down some more. You might wait for a clear signal they've turned up and then buy even if you have to pay a few bucks more. Doesn't really matter if you are looking for long term hold.

Good luck.
