Well said! Best to fight and run away, and live to fight another day.

For example, most people I know love to get in during a consolidation, when a stock is most prone to whipsawing. They refuse to get in when a stock is moving at high speed in one direction because it's "too scary". Well, how much "whipsawing" did we see when all these stocks dropped by $20 in a day? Not many...

So I guess it's my contention that most people are trading when they shouldn't be and vice versa.
