Sarcasm is belligerent, unless it is subtle. You mainly get in people's faces and go "OH YEAH!" Not so subtle. As for mistaking knowledge for dogma, I daresay I have changed my mind on more important things in the course of my life than you ever have. But experience and reflection does produce a certain amount of confidence as one gets older. Having convictions is not the same as being dogmatic. I am perfectly willing to engage in intelligent argument over any position.........
