Some excellent responses to the self-knighted Brownfingers. He's a bottom shorter and that's why he's known as Brownfingers. If you check out his thread, he boldly announced his short (as a gift) when MCOM was around 18, following which it ran up to 24. (Of course, he'll say he doubled up, etc., ) Thanks to the greatest bear market in 15 years, he's finally making a few points. The guy is more blow than hard if you know what I mean. He uses no facts, just paraphrase and perhaps some out of context quotes. (Anyone who thinks PA will allow MCOM to run out of money even if the market totally tanks is nutso. MCOM lucked out by raising most of the money needed at $87 a share.)

Brownie's an excellent contra indicator and now, I've no doubt that MCOM will start its turn upwards. Once we get some stability in Washington, there will be a rally and this is one that will start to move more and more once users and associates became aware of its potential.

For me, I'm waiting for R2 to come to Boston. I've got 2 ADSL lines and the ridiculous cellphone browser. My ADSL is down at least once a week, sometimes for hours, sometimes for a couple of days. Phone company and CLEC give all types of excuses (routing problems LOL). I don't even bother calling about the phone browser. IF and WHEN it works, it's really only good for getting last trade price. A phone is not a computer.

As for DSL speed, I rarely get above 128K, even though I'm supposed to be getting 3-5 times that. When I call they say,"that's just the way it works." MCOM is promising real 128K in final build-out areas and actually delivering more. This is a real number not a phoney phone company type number.

When R2 comes to Boston, I'll have true wireless broadband wherever I go. I've spoken to the local office and they've got 100 cities and towns in the footprint. For me money is not the issue but I'll actually save money, lots of it by getting rid of 2 ADSL lines and the goofy web browser.

G3 will never get here. Look at the auctions here and the problems in Europe. R2 will have 3 years head start and their technology is improving.

(I believe I'm somewhat unbiased as I've picked up both RTHM and COVD, as well as LU for turn around plays. I'm also nibbling at the tel cos if they go down further. I've got positions in LU and NT.)

Listen Vulcan Mind Meld: For too long punks like you know nothing have confused brains with a bull market. Now that you are trapped, do not blame me for your excess.

FACT: WCOM has no spare change. Paul Allen is a seller. You lose. FACT: STOCK IS tumbling. It is in a PLUNGE.

Denial is NOT a river in Egypt.
