Yeah I read that the last time you recommended it to me, and you may very well be right about my difficulty in becoming a trader. I didn't set out to be one, but became interested in finding out more about it. In addition to never having used a stop, I have also never placed a market order, nor do I sit hunched over a screen all day watching the moves but on the other hand in the 90's Idid experience a seven consecutive year stretch with cumulative net growth of just over 120% per year, so I know what it feels like. The scams that have taken place including Bre-X and Long Term Capital (or whatever it's name was), and many others, combined with the advent of the net and the changed market place create a need for updating for me personally. At some point I will need to take your course, but IMO am not yet ready for that step as I need to do much more of the reading you have recommended. Meantime I confine myself to a small number of interests and trades to get bits of experience and an improved feel for the subject. Thank you for your responses, and the time you have taken to make them. I shall continue for now to mostly lurk and keep my powder dry.
