If Bush wins today, Gore will challenge the ballot in Dade county. He'll file suit, etc.

Re: the suit. Doesn't matter. Three voters filed yesterday. I don't believe either candidate is in a position to resolve anything at this point. The only thing they can do is say something really stupid. IMO, they both have a good shot at doing that.

Agree with you on the NAZ; the semis may be in worse shape, wondering if the SOX.X has a good shot at 400 before the end of the year [hell, maybe the end of the month].

As I said election night, the Democrats get the dumbed down vote. I find it a sad state of affairs that the Democrats pin their election hopes on a lawsuit because some voters were too stupid to read the ballot and follow the clearly simple to use big arrows that pointed to the holes they were supposed to punch. Basically they are saying, these people can't follow simple instructions but they are the ones that should decide this election. Maybe we should just get rid of the vote and have our votes done automatically via the census. If you are military, attended college, have kept a full time job paying more than minimum wage etc, you automatically cast a Repub vote. If you are a high school drop out, Union member, welfare recipient, communist etc, you automatically are counted as a Democrat. Sure would simplify things. <ggg>

Maybe polling tests weren't a bad idea after all.

CNN saying the PPI expectation is now +.1 for both the regular PPI and core rate. Do they automatically give a cushion when we are down the day before the release?<g> Expectations before yesterday's drop were for +.1 regular and for a drop of .1 core rate. Sell side analysts are as crooked as the Gore campaign.

Good Luck,

Lee

The NDX is starting to revert to last fall's spread of 330 points with the OTC Comp. They'll easily lead the breakdown since the spread was only about 20 recently when testing the May lows. Janus and other funds should be distributing their 'gains' in four weeks.
