Dated week ending Oct 27, 2000: seven page insert with latest NR (MDR), update on progresses visit by we (DAL, doug leishman)in summary:
"However, of the projects visited, Cerro Samenta, Rio Grande and Alizaro, all have a footprint of a significant mineral system. All in all, we were impressed by the quality of Mansfield,s holdings. The discovery of RG and Alizaro (100% owned by MDR) has put a new light on the type of deposit to be found in the district.
Cerro Samenta, while still a quality target will take a back seat to the exploration and development of the other properties. While relatively remote, we do believe development of mining projects in this district is feasible using Chile as a point of departure. In addition, the regional programs is resulting in the IDing of addn'l drill targets. As a pure spec play, and with the realization that drilling of Rio Grande is not likely to occur until after Christmas, it will not hurt investors to pick away at mansfield at its current market price. The target of R G is large and if drilling is successful, the value of mansfield,s other projects should be enhanced." cheers, jerry
