In 2004 there will be no voting. The two candidates will just start suing each other right after the primaries.

The last time a President's son was given the office with a minority of the popular vote it caused such an outrage that 4 years later the Democrat was given an overwhelming mandate.

If Bush were smart, which is too much to hope for, he would publicly release his electors in Florida from voting for him. Since they are all party hacks they would vote for him anyway, but at least he would have attempted legitimacy.
